We tabled at Eco-topia and donated an artichoke agave to Ferguson’s Downtown in remembrance of the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting. Remembering the tragedy, the loved ones, the survivors, the first responders and all those who continue on the path of recovery.
“From the darkest night comes the strongest light”
Special thanks to Starla Newcomb for creating Eco-Topia, and asking us to attend. We raffled off an apple and pomegranate tree, and had lots of fun with partners and met new friends. We learned a lot from urban farmers David the Green Samaritan and Farmer Jen, and met new groups who are ready to plant!
|
We joined Kim Garrison Means, Leland and the awesome crew at the Mystery Ranch for their Pond Party 2022.
We planted 11 trees and native plants and shrubs, including cottonwood, mesquite, willow, yerba mansa, creosote, brittlebush, globemallow, penstemon and much more!
The Mystery Ranch is part of the AviKwaAme Monument that is forthcoming!
